What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file your browser stores when you visit a website. It lets the site remember things between page loads — your login state, your preferences, or anonymous analytics.
What EvCentra uses
The www.evcentra.com website uses three categories of cookies and similar technologies. None of them are advertising cookies. We do not run ads.
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Lifespan |
|---|---|---|---|
evc_session | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in if you log into the marketing site (admin area). | Session |
evc_theme | Preference | Remembers your light/dark preference. | 1 year |
evc_consent | Strictly necessary | Records your cookie-banner choice so we don't ask again. | 6 months |
| Plausible Analytics | Analytics — cookieless | Page-view counts, referrer, country (IP-truncated). No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting. | — |
What we do not use
- No Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or Meta Pixel;
- No advertising / re-marketing pixels;
- No third-party social-media share buttons that load remote scripts;
- No fonts loaded from a CDN that fingerprints visitors — we host or self-load fonts.
The EvCentra mobile app
The mobile app uses platform-standard device identifiers (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) only for crash reporting (Sentry, India region). You can disable advertising IDs in your device settings; the app will continue to work — only crash diagnostics will degrade.
Manage your preferences
You can clear or block cookies via your browser's settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may impair core functionality (e.g. staying signed in). To reset your consent on this site, clear evc_consent from your browser and reload — the banner will appear again.
Changes
If we add or change cookies, we update this page and trigger the consent banner again. Older versions are available on request to privacy@evcentra.com.
